Fun Sunday

I was excited to take my nephew's portraits this weekend. He is about to turn 1! The location for the photo shoot was awesome! It is in a very small town in SouthEast Missouri called Frohna. I actually photographed a wedding there one time. It's called Saxon Luthern Memorial.

I currently am obsessed with old farm houses and vintage household items, so I was excited to "sneak" a few personal photos during the portrait session.

It's been a long time since I have photographed for fun!

LOVE old farm houses!

And random signs

The colors on the trees were amazing!

Vintage "things"

Moo!

Very interesting to me...Donkeys, sheep and goats all together

Snow Day!

Classes were canceled today due to snow and ice. Amazingly January 12th has been our first real snow this winter! Of course the kids were so excited when they woke up, but they weren't aware of how COLD it was today. I think the temp hovered around 19 with blustering winds. Needless to say, we did not spend much time playing in the snow.

But we managed to get a couple of short sledding sessions.

And Scout enjoyed her first snow!

But, with the blustering winds and bitter cold, we had to find some creative things to do inside. I know that Valentines Day is over a month away, but we have a lot of kids to make cards for, so we started to tackle that project.

We gathered all the red, pink, purple, silver and other pretty colors out of the craft boxes and got to glueing, painting, and glittering.

Cookie sheets under the Valentines was an attempt to keep the paint, glue and glitter off the table.

This "snowy day project" actually kept the girls content for hours! They just LOVE to craft!

A little bit of knowledge

I came across a blog one day about this woman and everything in her life; her family, hobbies, house, work, ect. And for some reason, I was really intrigued and found myself wanting to go back and read it more and more. Of course, she has amazing craft ideas on her site that are great for kids. She has 5 kids! After a few days of reading her blog I realized it is a totally awesome way to document the things in life that I care about; family, travel, creative ideas and projects, photography and everything else that comes along.

And so, Anything and Everything was born. We have a lot going on in our lives right now and what better way to document it?

A little about me... I have a wonderful hubby of 6 years, 2 beautiful girls, ages 4 & 3 and baby girl III on the way. She is due in May, but I'm guessing she will be born in April. Just three short months after this baby is born I will be sending my first born off to kindergarten. I'm already loosing sleep about this!

We are getting ready to build a new house. I'm sure you will hear tons about that! I can't wait. We are building my dream home. I LOVE interior design and have forced myself to not put anymore effort into our current home. It's for sale. The building process has been stressful and we haven't even broke ground yet! I have so many ideas for the new house I feel like I am going to burst!

I am a professional photographer, part time, my family come first. Once all of the girls are in school I plan on photographing full time. Right now I am on a wedding hiatus due to my pregnancy. I just can't be on my feet for too long.

I have recently discovered Pinterest. I am addicted!

I have so many things I want to blog about right now, so you will be seeing all kinds of posts in the near future. I hope you enjoy!
