I am a sucker for all things old. I think they have so much character, especially when compared to new things. So, when we took our trip to Colorado and went on the old scenic railroad (train ride) I couldn't resist capturing all the old signs.
I am pretty sure the train station is original, like from the old western days. And it may be the only thing worth visiting in Chama, NM, but it was a pretty cool place. It was like stepping back in time. A slower time, when everyone wasn't constantly in a rush. And let me tell you, it was a good thing they weren't in a hurry because the train ride was about 6 hours even though by bus it was less than 1 hour drive.
Honestly, the ride could have been cut in half and still been just as cool, but I'm still happy we did it.
And I got to photograph these cool old signs at the station.
